Food here is basically bar food. If you look at Ale House like a bar you will not be disappointed. If you think it's a restaurant that serves drinks you might be disappointed. I always get the Zinger Mountain Melt... Chicken strips in one of their sauces w/fries covered in bacon and cheese... If you want a steak and lobster tail go to a steak house...

If there was an option for zero stars, that's exactly what this place would get. Went there on a Thursday night around 10:15 with 2 friends. We were seated pretty quickly at a bar top table near the back. That is where the good service ended. We sat at the table for maybe 20 minutes with waiters passing by and no one stopped at our table to even say "sorry I'm busy but I'll get to you in a minute". Frustrated and HUNGRY, we saw three open spots at the bar and thought , to our demise, that we would get better service. I don't know how to say it nicely but I'll try my best. The bartenders are 100% idiots and rude. At this point it was 10:50 and my friends and I didn't even have a water. If I wasn't already in Miami Lakes and didn't want to eat Burger King for dinner, I would have left. Every single bartender looked our way and kept walking. A busboy cleaning up the patrons glasses that was sitting next to us finally asked if we've been served. I know I have him the biggest side eye ever. Do I look like I'm enjoying any food and beverage right now?? He took our drink orders and actually poured my beer as well. (Where the hell are the bartenders?!?) After another ten minutes of waiting, I was finally able to flag down a bartender (dark hair and mustache - looked stoned and sweaty) and asked him if he was out server. He stares at me blankly & He replies " I'm the bartender" ...only reason I didn't reach over and shake him was obviously because I don't want to be in jail....at least not because of the damn Ale house. I ask him can I order food because I'm assuming this is a restaurant and not a frat house. He finally takes the order and honestly that was the only interaction I had with him the entire evening. The busboys and food runners got us all of my refills and silverware. Needless to say the food was mediocre at best (We got the blackened chicken quesadillas, wings and spinach dip) and despite how hungry we were, we ended up leaving most of it, we were so disgusted with the service. My friend and I have both been in the service industry for a while and I give people a break. But this was an EPIC FAIL. My friend was so annoyed she angrily filled out a survey while we waited. Smh. Only reason we came here was because Ruby Tuesdays was closing. Big mistake. I will never, ever return. On another note there was an obviously DRUNK patron to our left that could barely keep his eyes open and had his head laying on the actual bar but the other bartender kept serving him drinks!! Needless to say I made sure to get in my car before he left the place. Ale House FAIL!!

We have gone here several times to watch football games and they seem to always mess up the orders. I feel bad for the waiters because its the line cooks in the back that get things wrong and they get the blame. They should fire the line cooks with faster and more smarter people. Learn to make wings like pembroke pines and doral locations. Food seems less than sub-par at this location, and wait always long. My advice, order your drink, all your food, and check at the same time.

The food is great if you like standard American fare with a Miami twist. They also have a vegetarian menu. It isn't great but any vegetarian in Miami will appreciate the effort. Also, this is the place to go if you want to get drunk for cheap. They have lots of specials on liquors depending on the day you're there. Now, despite these nice qualities, I'm only giving this place 4 stars and I'll explain why. About half of the servers and bartenders are awesome- super friendly and quick and they deserve lots of $$ in tips. The other half are terribly rude and don't realize that little things like saying hello and thanking a customer when they are handed a tip make a difference. Others are just outright obnoxious. If you go remember that it can be crowded and noisy and generally full of younger people.

3 stars only because the food is decent and SOME of the staff is helpful and friendly. Came to watch the Brasil vs Colombia World Cup game and once I got to my table my waitress Suzana told me that if I didn't order anything, they were going to have to make me leave the table. I was waiting on my boyfriend and ordered a beer until he arrived. She checked on me every 5 minutes to see if I was finally going to order. Then even said "it looks like he's not going to show". When I told her I was there for the whole game she made a face that I could not believe. She couldn't be more unhappy that for those 2.5hours, she wasn't going to be able to turn her tables. TERRIBLE service. TERRIBLE waitress. Oh and she didn't speak any English.

Great place...great food...great service. We have been coming here off and on since they opened and recently have been blown away by the changes they have made. Whatever you did thank you. Your service has been spot on and your food quality has been excellent. We used to skip this location for dinner because of bad service and inconsistent food and only come in after work for drinks and bar food. But after several great visits we now choose the Ale House as our first choice and find ourselves becoming bigger and bigger Ale House fans.

Wow. I can't beleive Miller Ale House was the top dogs for years as far as sportsbars. The one in Miami Lakes is just not good. The service is very slow and I couldn't beleive I couldn't get sound for the FSU game, when UM wasn't playing. Oh don't forget about the preset TV BS so you can't pick a TV to see an NFL game or College game. The food is always average and if you like premium drinks, they are pricey compared to other places. Competition is definitely here finally for the Ale House. If you are a sports fan, I recommend Duffy's they have two for one drinks for anything you want. Yes premium drinks. You can also pick a TV to watch the game as long as nobody is watching the same TV. This is just genius to keep people coming back. Bokampers in Miramar is another great spot. It is pricey but the service is better than Ale House and they have more diverse customer base. They also play music when there are commercials with the games.

The outside is real nice with couches... Never seen that at an ale house before. But other than that, not much to be said about Ale House. It's a chain. Bleh... Even though when it comes to chains, stick with MIller's. A lot better than the Carolina Ale House's.

Really had a great experience on my second visit to the ale house. Wait was a little long, buy expected on a saturday night. waiter was attentive and very nice. Food was very good, ordered the calamari and for entree mahi picatta, husband got the mini burgers. For being a bar, we were very surprised how good it was.

Ale House probably trumps all for drink specials, plus outside (heated or air conditioned) smoker friendly patios. Now that sucks if you don't drink or smoke...so choose accordingly to fall off the ratings fence either to the 2 or 4 side. Sadly food other than appetizers seems to be inconsistent from location to location and shift to shift. Recap - choose any Ale House for good drinks at cheap prices and bar food apps to keep from getting sloppy.

The service was slow. I waited 30 minutes for a medium rare steak that arrived well done. They forgot my lobster tail and brought it out 5 minutes later. I put ketchup on the steak and still couldn't eat it. The lobster was nasty.

Me and my girl can't seem to get enough of our local watering hole! We always sit at the bar with the greatest bartender in miami lakes Steve ... This dude is always on point and very attentive! We walk in and our drinks are served immediately now that's what I call great service!

Well, where do I begin and how do I say this???? Service for lunch sucked! Waitress looked like she just rolled out of bed with make up smeared and still on from the night before. I'm not even kidding eye liner was smeared up and sideways. Anyways, she messed up our order soo many times, in a nut shell she asked "with chicken?" I said "grilled chicken," and I get no chicken and the wrong salad. "sigh." BUT, I must give credit to the manager Rodney, for his professionalism and great customer service, because when I complained he was surprised, but immediately understanding and comp'd the meal for our trouble and long wait. BTW, it took an hour for 2 salads, and the place was empty. Now I know why :o) Because of Rodney, I would still go back for the cheap beers, but next time, I'm sitting at the bar. lol

What's not to love about the Ale House. I was in this area for a business meeting and a few of us decided to have lunch before heading back to the city. This Miller's Ale House location just opened a few months ago and my friend who works a few miles away wanted to check it out. We arrived at about 12:45 on a Tuesday afternoon. The place was full, but not packed. They had some high seating (bar stools around a higher table) available for us right away with no wait. Though this Ale House is new, it looks nearly the same inside as the others I've been to in Hollywood, Doral, etc. There's a large bar in the center with a few dozen taps, lots of large screens nearly everywhere one looks for watching sports and other TV programming, a pool table and some arcade games. Our waiter was there pretty quickly to take our drink orders, and as soon as he brought the drinks, he took our food orders. Within 10 or 15 minutes our meals were delivered (not bad, considering the amount of patrons they had on this day), and everything was great. My only complaint is that our waiter was a little scarce. We never saw him from the time he took our orders until he delivered our food, then we never saw him again until we'd finished and he came to clear everything away and give us the bill. Luckily their beverages are fairly large, so neither of us needed a refill during those times. As Joseluis stated in his review, this place is definitely not $$$ as it says in the listing for this restaurant. I had a blackened prime rib sandwich with onion rings and fries, my friend had the zinger club sandwich with fries, we both had sodas and I think the total bill for both of us came to about $21 with tax.

We love the Ale House restaurants, and I have Been to four different ones. I like that whichever one you go to, you know exactly what to expect. We were in town for 5 days and fined there twice. They really have it all with great prices, great food, and even better value for money. The young man that sat us Sunday evening had an amazing attitude, thanked us for coming in again, sincerely seems to love what he does. We had Nikki for a waitress and she did a great job as well.

I usually come here because it's close to home and they have a decent selection of beers at a reasonable price. I've been here a bunch of times and I can't bring myself to ever leave satisfied with the food. There isn't anything really appealing on the menu other than your typical sports bar food. I'm not a super adventurous eater, but when I frequent a place I usually tend to order the same thing. Not the case with the Ale House. The food tastes microwaved and its just plain old boring. Now, onto the service! I seriously think they do their recruiting at a freakin opportunity school in Opalocka! My last experience here, and I mean last in both in the past and future tense, our waitress was looked higher than cheech and Chong.. Not only did she bring my husband out chicken fajitas instead of fish tacos, but she had the nerve to lie to his face and tell him that since he had asked for grilled fish they serve it on a fajita plate and that it wasn't chicken, but grilled fish..The girl didn't know what freakin fish looks like!! Horrible horrible! There were so many other F ups with our food that it's not even worth writing about..nonetheless, I will not be coming back here any more..it's just another crappy chain, with crappy food and crappy service!

Big Daddy Flanigan's has nothing to worry about when it comes to competing with Miller's Ale House. This is far and away the worst restaurant in Miami Lakes. Noisy, ignorant and incompetent staff and terrible food. My first visit to this place was a complete catastrophe. The orders were mixed up, late and the food was cold. The manager comped us the food (not the booze). Ok ... I figured anyone can make a mistake. The next visit was even worse. I ordered a caesar salad and there was a big green grasshopper in the salad. No joke. I saw it only because it had shiny red eyes. I pointed this out to the server who said nothing and promptly brought me another salad. ANOTHER SALAD!! Can you believe this guy. I got up and left. No one tried to stop me. I was dragged to this place a third time by a friend. He wanted to grab a beer. What harm can come of this.. I thought. There is no way these people can screw up a beer. We grabbed a pub table near the outdoor bar. The server took our order and brought two beers. He placed the beers on the table and they literally slipped off the table and into my friends lap. The table was uneven and surface was wet. The brew literally hydroplaned off the table. I couldn't make this up if I tried folks. My friend was soaked with Guinness. Check please! It's not over though. It turns out that Metro Dade Police (Miami Lakes PD) case this place for drunk drivers. A cop in an unmarked black SUV pulled our car over a block away from the bar. Have you been drinking sir.... ect.. My friend is soaked in beer. You can imagine the scene.... The idiot cop calls a DUI tech so my friend can blow. The result: 0.00. 2 hours later we go home. Never ever again.

Excellence in mediocrity and slow slow slow. If you have two hours for lunch it might be just the place for you. looking at other reviews there must be a lot of planted reviews or maybe you just need to be drunk to put up with such sh!tty service.

Ale house ! For some reason you're always going to run into people you know here lol Ok the service is great but had one bad experience so don't base your first experience on the waitress/waiter The food is nice and cheap and very nice selection of beer and the rib eye is delicious, at first they were rushing everything when they first opened but now that they finally broke in the kitchen. Every meal taste great Negatives is its always packed for game days and you sometimes get terrible service depending who you get Enjoy !

Food taste microwaved, service is bad,and the police profile and harass everyone leaving this restaurant .the cops pull over everyone leaving this restaurant trying to get DUI driver ,but all they do is aggravate honest citizens. Also the wings here are tiny no meat and fries are horrible ....

Usually sit at the bar outside - nice patio area! Can't beat the $6 pitchers. So much better than Flannigan's. Usually don't eat, just have their appetizers, but I can vouch for them - what I have eaten has been good!

Miller's Miami Lakes Ale House is great for us locals who don't feel like trekking over to Pines or Doral for some Zingers. They have awesome deals on beer and the outside seating area adds a nice touch to the restaurant. Definitely something that the other Ale Houses do not have. The waiters are hit or miss. I've gotten good waiters and bad. Experienced and inexperienced. But I won't let that put a damper on my Zingers!

The service is great and so are the burgers! I've been here twice and every time i've had a great time, awesome service, and delicious food! The only thing is they do take a bit long to bring your food, so make sure you don't go starving. The ossobuco is a must try! they make it perfect!

  • Laura B.

I've gotta say, I've changed my mind about this place. Wednesday nights, they have a salsa party, Thursday nights, they give free drinks to ladies from 10pm-1am and have a DJ playing music that you just can't help but dance to. Every time I've been back, I've had an awesome time. Still good for sports games, still also gets ridiculously crowded. Once the bartenders get to know you, you're in. It hasn't quite become a weekly spot, but I suspect that it may very well be pretty soon!

Been here twice. My first experience at the Ale house was for lunch and the service was horrendous. I ordered a very simple sandwich and it took over an hour to get it to my table. The fries were tasteless and cold. I had a diet coke that was never refilled and the waiter was way to cavalier about the situation. Came back for a sporting event and it was a total nightmare. Tried the chicken wings and quite possibly the worst I have ever eaten. (Go to the Wingstop in Hialeah if you want to have some awesome wings). If the food wasn't bad enough a brawl starts up in the section next to us. Never again.

I stumbled over to the Ale House a little after 1am on a Saturday night. For the most part, people had started shutting it down for the night. Last call is at 1:30am for food and drinks. I had a couple of LIIT at the bar and ordered some food. The chicken teriyaki tenders had been marinating in sauce and were basically thrown on the grill and laid over a plate of semi-crunchy (i.e. undercooked) wild rice. Kind of like Uncle Ben's. The saving grace was Estela, who is a perfectly perky bartender. As I was leaving a drunk guy bee-lined it for me and said, "hey! where you going?" and I said, "home." The cop at the door asked me if I knew him and I said no. The cop had just walked Drunk Guy back to his hotel. Drunk Guy decided to be onery and had walked back on his own. "He's not with me."

The new Ale House landed in Miami Lakes!!!! The restaurant/sports bar opened last Wednesday (3/16/2011) and its been packed all weekend long! There are two huge Bars (Indoors/Outdoors) with tons of Flat screens in almost every corner. Very spacious to the point that even if its super packed, you can still move around easily to the bars or restrooms. The service is tremendously fast compared to other Ale Houses where depending how packed your service can lag some time to cook. TONS of Miami Heat fans were there this weekend to watch them play. In the outdoors bar they even have couches to lounge on. This is new!! Im not sure if other Ale houses have this. They do allow you to enter thru the outdoors bar, but expect to be asked to pull out your ID. One flaw was parking. Finding a parking spot in the back of the ale house was a nightmare. I suggest to park far for faster access and take the small walk. The location is awesome!!! You can literally go watch a Movie at the Main Street theater and after the movie you can simply walk across the street to the ale house, lunch or dine. The finally walk back to grab dessert at Cold Stone. Sounds like a nice fun Date!

Happy hour is *fair* ... $2 for their cheapest domestic beers. Halfway decent hard liquor specials. Food is not the best. Had the Tuesday special ribeye which was a little tough but flavorful - served with two bites of cole slaw and a side of your choice. I ordered the loaded baked potato. Was told "they're not ready" and had mashed potatoes substituted. MP tasted like they were prepared the day before. When the baked potato finally arrived it was still hard and undercooked. A solid two stars (max).

first at all, this place is not $$$ , its more like $$. if you think this place is $$$, you need to make some more $. i was around the neighborhood - my old hood - last night and my friend suggested it. they were pretty busy as it was game 4 (nba finals) but still we got friendly, smiley service. they have a decent beer list. many on tap. i got the osobuco. good stuff. juicy and tender and only 12 bucks. my friend got the fish and chips and they were also pretty good. lots of tvs, lots of beers to choose from and a large menu. if i lived closer, id probably watch the games here.

A new restaurant (or new anything, really) is always an event in Miami Lakes where there isn't much else to do. I decided to check out the Ale House once the Grand Opening fever died down and was pleasantly surprised. The food is great (namely appetizers and main courses) and the service is friendly. If you avoid meal "rush hours" you won't have to wait long. As for the price, it is typical of the Miami Lakes area ($10 and up per person) and will increase should you include alcohol in your meal. This is a great addition to the Miami Lakes area. I just hope the food stays fresh and the place stays clean! My Favorites: Pot Stickers Fiesta Nachos Mahi Mahi Cheeseburgers Enjoy!

So I leave work, and was hoping to find a beer place. A buddy of mine suggested we check out the Ale House that was down the street from my motel, so I thought, why not? We get there and the place was fairly empty, but had a nice feel to it. Definitely an open atmosphere and the waitresses aplenty. I ordered the Ossobuco which is a slowly roasted pork shank left on the bone. I wasn't sure what it would be, but it was quite tasty. Went well with the mashed potatoes and washed it down with a pitcher of beer. The beer selection was a little dissapointing. They did have some more exotics such as Mad Hat, and some IPA's on draft, but the overall selection was the same old. The bottle selection was poor. Of course, now I know why it was called "Millers". Still, if you are into your basic domestics (or the general imports), this might be the place for you. I gave it 4 starts cause I liked the food. If I graded it as a bar, only 2-3.

Pretty good place, your run of the mill Ale House. Not crowded @ lunch time which makes it a good place for lunch (fast).

Great place to be at , it's packed Monday thru Sunday. Prepare to stand, ladies don't wear heels. Food is high priced, but drinks are always cheap! They have a second bar on an outside patio area, which is great, Alehouse used to be known to never have this, and smokers were forced to wait outside!

I'm so happy that an Ale hose finally opened up in Miami Lakes. no more driving to the Doral or Kendall. I've read several reviews stating that they have seen fights here but I'm a regular on Fridays and I've never witnessed any fights or arrogant behavior from the men that are here. I love the outside bar but if I could make a suggestion it would be to put outlets around the bar so I can charge my cell phone and IPad. Dale Alehouse place them right beneath the hooks for my purse. my favorite bartenders are: Angelique, Hugo, Alexis, and Patrick

This opened in the old Buca di Beppo space a couple of weeks ago. Have visited 2 times during weekday lunch hours and both times there's been a 10 - 20 minute wait. I assume once the newness wears off, so will the wait times. If wait is too long, Ruby Tuesdays and On the Border are right next door. Food is typical Ale House...huge menu and great drink specials all day, every day. Tons of tvs, both inside and outside. Service has been great during both visits.

Food is not good at all I have tasted fast food places that serve better food my girlfriends steak tasted bland food took 40 mins with almost a half packed hous. I have plans to make a return trip ,the only saving grace is your glass for my soda was the size of a pitcher

The Ale houses are always the same although I think they designed this one better than the rest. There is ample room around all dining areas and although we didn't eat outside the terrace was inviting with spritzer fans from the ceilings and plenty of seating. We decided to take a hi top to avoid the wait but with a tot in tow it proved a bit of a mission since whenever one of his cars rolled off the table it was a hop off to reach for it. The on-tap beer selection needs some improvement with the best brew offered being Blue Moon. There are no happy hour specials which is always disappointing. We weren't super hungry so we ordered salads and I was pleasantly surprised with the chinese chicken salad which was big and tasty. The waiter was extremely kind and tops in terms of toddler service. He brought out fries for our little one while we ate and then comped a kiddie sundae topped with M&Ms. If it were my son rating the waiter I assure you he would get 5 stars. Is this place worth the wait? Not too sure about that since there are plenty of places offering better drink beers and salads that are just as good in the same area but if there's no line or waiting and you're really hungry, why not.

I really wanted this place to work, however I have too many bad experiences that seem to add up to bad management. The waiters are inept inhandlingnmore than 2 tables at a time. If my experience starts out okay, it's always a mess by the end. They don't know simple stuff like the soup of the day, they don't check back frequently, no ownership at all. The managers I have dealt with lately are not handling the mess at all. At first it seemed like the place was just busy and they were going through growing pains. Now it seems as if they can't hold on to decent people to hire and train. Family night will now be somewhere else and my happy hours will go back to On the Border. Wish Flannigans had a bigger bar area.

Place seems it could easily be a Homerun & the chicks are gorgeous...BUT, what really messes this place up are the Local guys! A bunch of Ignorant people..I was there for one full hour & this is what I saw & noticed; 5 mns in; a staredown that required the police to intervene, 15 mns in; a dude telling his 'boy' that somebody that night was going to get their head cracked..23 mns in; 35 mns in; I used the corner of a table to sign my invoice & a gut at the table asked ' what are you doing guy?'...I could'nt get outta there quick enough!!

Since it is a new location I understand some of it's insanity. Unfortunately they apparently can't hold onto any staff! The managers barely speak. Most of the time you can't even walk in there because their are so many people and so little servers. I've never waited so long for a drink in my life! There is no happy hour (except for beer) and the prices are outrageous! A lot of people left their watering holes to try this new place but in all honesty I'm going back to my hole in the wall because this is insane! The only way to get great service is to go in on Monday as soon as the doors open.

This is definitely not my favorite Ale House location. I've never had a good waitress here which I find to be a big problem. I don't like spending an hour at a restaurant when all I order is an entree. The quality of the food at this location isn't all that great. I would prefer to spend an extra 15-20 minutes driving to their Pembroke Pines location which I consider to be so much better.

As a resident and business owner I'm consistently appalled by the barren wasteland that is the Miami Lakes restaurant scene. With very few exceptions the options suck and one has to leave the area to get a decent meal with good service. Case in point today's experience at the Lakes Ale House. My business partner and four colleagues decided to try again, even after putting the big X on this place months ago. We where greeted by our enthusiastic server which quickly took our order "from memory... He must be really smart" and it was downhill from there. Four of the six orders came out wrong. And the server was training someone... Holy cow! It took more than 20 minutes to serve the last corrected meal. My colleague was the only one eating. There is more to say but you get the idea. I would have given a zero but the food was at least edible. Come here if you want to get drunk while watching a game and eating crappy food that's about it.

I had a great experience here. We were seated immediately, but it was a Wednesday so let's account for that. I've been there before for the Miami heat playoffs and it was packed. The waitress was really nice and attentive.

This place is great! If your looking for fair priced drinks and even better food, this is the place. All around my experience each time i have gone has been a good one, the only complaint i have is last time the bartender we had, made our drinks kinda weak, which has not been been the norm. You cant win 'em all i suppose, but the Baked seafood platter more than made up for it, their food is VERY good! So glad this is right next to my house :D

Where to even begin on how TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE this place is. I wouldn't go near this place even if they gave me a whole year of free food. And the only reason it has one star is well because I can't give it 0 stars but that's what this place deserves. Last night we headed out to watch the UFC fight at this restaurant, but before I get to how terrible last night was let me review my previous visits. Visited this location on two previous occasions, the first time went in with a group, gave the waiter different credit cards for different checks when it was time to pay, even explained it to him thoroughly placing names on the checks with the credit card but he still managed to swipe my card over two times with the same amount of money. The second time around the service was very slow. Waited over an hour just for a burger. Also don't go here to watch anything during a rainstorm/thunderstorm because the only connection they have is Direct TV so the signal goes off or glitches. After last night's fiasco I'll never visit this Ale House again. This is one of the few locations in the Miami Lakes area to show UFC fights so naturally we headed to watch the fight and dine in. Arrived at 10 p.m. and was told by the hostess that the wait would be 30-40 minutes. I thought it was to good to be true and even other restaurants would've been honest and have told me they wouldn't be able to tell me an exact time because of the fight and the crowds. It seemed pretty quick especially for a night of a big UFC card so we took a number to wait. Upon entrance to the restaurant there was a sign that read "NO SOUND INSIDE DINING AREA FOR UFC ONLY OUTSIDE PATIO" so the only way to hear the fights commentators was to go outside to the patio area where people are smoking cigarettes, let alone where its very hot. If you ask me that is not giving the customer an option and exposing them to second hand smoke. After an hour outside we decided to go inside to be in the AC where I asked a waitress if one tv out of 15 not showing the fight could play the fight and she told me she couldn't because they got a complain from a customer that was with a child that didn't want their child seeing the fight. So I guess only one customer has a say in it when a parent has his child out at 11 pm at night. Another hour went by (been waiting on my feet for 2 hours by now) and we were still not seated when I noticed two gentlemen that had been standing behind me by the bar just went up to the hostess and got a seat without even going through the number system. At this point I went to complain to her and she sat us down. When sitting down they had a flyer placed on the table that stated they would not play the fight in the dining area. I asked to see the manager and asked him if he could change one tv in that section to the fight. The manager was rude and sarcastic first stating that flyers are placed around the restaurant stating "FIGHT WILL NOT BE SHOWN IN DINING AREA" basically telling me I was wrong and they had warned me. if I'm not mistaken the entire restaurant is a dining area and if they wanted to close in sections not to show the fight in one area then include a sign that states what that dining area is, let alone have the hostess specify it to all guest. The manager proceeded to tell me that in that specific section they sit people because not "everyone wants to watch the fight", yet there were 15 tv's in that area not showing the fight but they couldn't put not one on showing the fight. One tv out of 15 doesnt sound unreasonable to me. There were no other big sporting events happening at that time, let alone such a huge UFC card like that of Silva vs Sonnen. Then he gave me another excuse as to why they do that and it was because "people will just sit there for 4 hours just to watch the fight," as in if they take up the space. IF indeed that is the case then you make people buy food or drinks in order to stay seating if not they have to leave. It seems simple to me. Basically he was more concerned with proving me wrong and giving a bunch of different excuses that made no sense to me that I decided I wouldn't set foot in there even if they paid me. I started walking away and then he wanted to be empathetic and started offering me a free entree which I proceeded to walk away because he wasn't helpful what so ever. Lucky for him, the complaint is being sent to corporate. I even called different Ale House locations to confirm if it was something set by the managers and indeed they said yes but that they should have been playing the fight everywhere inside and even allowing customers to hear it inside, not just outside.

I literally only order one thing from takeout here. Zingers hot. My order has been wrong 98% of the time. How do you get Zingers wrong?? I come home.. there's no hot sauce on them! What?! It's the easiest order! They give me bleu cheese when I ask for ranch. I ask for extra ranch they don't give me any. Rarely do I get the celery that is supposed to come with. I refuse to keep giving this establishment my money. I've worked in the restaurant industry for 13 years. This is the most poorly ran franchise I have EVER encountered.

Went on a Sunday Night, horrible. Hopefully the popularity of the place wears off. The wait time was roughly 30 minutes, standing around with a bunch of people, crowded. The Bar was packed, but a waiter kept coming around offering drinks. If you're a local, don't be surprised if its high-school reunion. YOU WILL see someone you know/despise/dont like/possibly taunted/liked etc. When we sat down, we were sitting next to a bucket of water and a leaky roof. The drink i ordered was murdered with salt. I even had salt at the bottom of my cup! Nothing like a margarita with more salt than tequila. Food was the same as all Ale Houses. Good portions. pretty fast. Our waitress was awesome. Probably not the best place for the weekends. The outdoor bar is HOT HOT HOT. Not enough fans to support you even at 10pm when the sun is long gone. And its the spot if you're looking to hookup. Although lots of families were there, its not as much a family environment as it COULD be.

I've been to this ale house for lunch a couple of times since it's open. My last visit there this week was horrible and I think I would think twice about going to this one again. The service and wait time was unacceptable. It took about 15 mins for a waitress just to come to our table and get our order. We ordered drinks from the bar and it took another 15 mins just to bring it to us (My table was next to the bar and we were watching our drinks just sit there at service). We finally placed our order at almost 12:30 and didnt get my food until 1:20pm; all I ordered was fries and a zinger wrap, the rest of my party ordered zingers and a salad. I can't beleive it took so long to have something that so simple to put together. My zinger wrap was not set up right the presentation was awful. A wrap is suppose to be like its called a "wrap", not put together like a soft taco and place it on the plate upside down so the customer won't notice and on top of that it was not even cut in half how it was suppose to be. The expo line and window was very disorganized and no one knew what was going on or what was going where. I used to work for Miller's Ale house but its Doral location as a waitress and bartender and the experiance I received would definatley be highly unacceptable for a employee and manager to allow at the Doral store. Not sure if this store is highly disorganized because its a new store but they need to get their act together. Overall bit crowded but if going for happy hour you will have better service than lunch hour.

This is the worst place in Miami lakes to go and have lunch. This people took like 15 min to bring use beer and in top of that we ordered wings for appetizer it took another 20 min for that to come out of the kitchen. Then the girl that's was going to bring the food to our table she walked around the whole place with our food putting it down in two different table and she didn't even make it to our table. This place is a complete mess. The same thing happen with our sandwiches we order another table got them. The people from the table touch the sandwiches and told the waiter that it wasn't there food and then he got the plates was going to give it to us. I was watching the whole thing happen.the waitress were very rude and confuse with what they were doing in the end we just got up gave a compliant to manager told him that it wasn't right for his staff to be rude and to mess up my order he said the beer was on him which was nice of him. We left to flanigans way better and no problems there. The moral of my story I'll never step in to miller ale house again.

Tremenda mierda. Food is nasty and the floor is like a slip n slide. Food is just terrible even for Ale House standards. My son almost slipped waking to the bathroom and then come to find out it hasn't been cleaned in what looked like a week. Never again.

Food is good but it takes forever to get a table and the wait continues inside for the food, the portions keep getting smaller but the food eas good!

Be patient, the wait here is often lengthy. Our food at this Ale House lately has been very disappointing. The service is mediocre too. I'd recommend the one in Kendall over this one any day. We (my family and friends) love the variety of options offered at the Ale House but our experiences at this particular one have been leaving us with no desire to come back. Servers who for over 30 minutes never show up to your table, only to get apologized to by another server because the manager changed their tables, to then wait some more and then cold food. Bleh!

I love the Ale House! There are always a ton of tv's, lots of seating, that awesome down-to-earth sport bar vibe and WINGS! This location is no exception. In fact, I like it better than most because of the HUGE patio! The bar outside is big. They have bar seating, high tops and even some couches. There's tons of free parking too!

please don't go to this place because of the food, is awful, they had the most tiny 9 dll hamburger I have seen in USA, for one dollar you can have a better hamburger in mcdonalds or even costco , service is bad and slow, this place looks as an a good option if you just want to grab a beer an watch a game,

Mehhh. Had a so-so lunch while in the area. Ordered the Asian Chicken Salad. Solid 3/5... Not bad but nothing to write home about. Decent service, average prices.

I love to come to this place and sit in the bar and order my food from there. The waiter can move a little faster but it's all good. We tried to sit outside. It it was crowded. So far so good and it's the only ale house around.

  • Armando G.

Is it ok to highly dislike this location simply because of the crowd? Yes. Other than the obnoxious crowd, the service tends to be a bit slow as well, but not consistently horrible; I guess it's hit or miss. The food can actually be pretty tasty; what we have all come to expect from bar food. My favorite item? Hands down, it's the ZINGER MOUNTAIN MELT. Several Zingers (Chicken tenders) on top of fries, smothered with melted cheese, bacon, green onions and blue cheese. It's meant for sharing; no I don't share this. This location must be visited on non-sporting event days, weekday lunches and never at night if you are looking for a meal without any drama or obnoxious crowds.

Anybody whos anybody in Miami Lakes has to pay a visit to the Ale House. Centrally located in the heart of Miami Lakes, it is no doubt the most "popping" place to come on any night of the week. That's exactly where I take issue with it though... When it first opened, I came at least twice a week and the turn-up was extremely real. Now, its faded and it has become too much of a happening spot. I mean, I can't walk five feet in any direction without running into an unknowingly annoying acquaintance, frenemy, or high school math teacher and thats quite annoying. The drinks are great, cheap and the beer specials are amazing. The food is alright, I am a sucker for the zingers and usually order the zinger mountain melt which is incredible! But is it worth running into everyone who lives in the area? No. So, usually, I order takeout...and wear a burka in order to shield myself from awkward run-ins. The takeout portions are also much more generous so I recommend takeout even if you opt to sit at the bar. During any sports event-- run from this place! It is nearly impossible to find seating or order a drink.

Very casual. Great for group and hangout with the family. The food is good and has different variety. I think the food I order was delicious except for the vegetables that were slightly undercooked. I do give five stars to the music. I love all the songs in the Ale House locations. The servers were educated and they knew the menu thoroughly. Not my favorite spot but is good to grab a quick meal. The best thing they have are the zinders.

I love the look of this place. Everything is made up of wood and the TVs are always tuned into different sports or news channels. So there's always something interesting to watch. I don't eat red meat so I ordered the turkey burger. In no way, shape, or form, was that burger tasty. I think this place tops having the worst turkey burger I've ever had. I make turkey burgers at home, and they come out great. I know that bar food isn't always like home cooked meals, but come on, it should be somewhat good. It had a weird grey-ish pale color to it, and it had a strange flavor. I put so much salt, pepper, and ketchup to hide the taste. I was on my 1 hr lunch break from work, so I didn't have time to order another meal. I would've given this place 1 star, but the service was great. The host was so nice and attentive. So was our waitress. Everyone had a smile on their face, and they were ready to help. Based on my experience, I'm not sure whether I'd return......

I've only been a few times and this place is not for me. This place takes itself way too serious for what it is. The food isn't that great and over priced. It gets extremely packed with yuppies and not a traditional Miami ale house. Not worth the time.

Ale House is Flanigan's ugly cousin, does that analogy make any sense? Didn't think so. Neither does Ale House. If you are a local, you know how difficult it is to get a strong drink in the Hialeah/Miami Lakes area. Ale Houses satisfies that itch, but if it weren't for the lack of selection, I would never ever come here. Their food is pretty good for a chain restaurant/bar, but that's about as far as it goes. Aside from good food/drink specials, I can't find what everyone else finds "charming" about this place. The crowd changes from high school kids to Westland Mall's finest dependent on the night, and the outside area is always the "spot". If you do go, try their seafood selections & captain jack's dessert. Overall, Ale House is just average, and for that gets 3 stars.

Another great dinner at my favorite Florida chain! You can't go wrong with this place! They have tons of beer and drink specials! I recommend the white sangria : ) We ended up going the night before flying home. I had the asain chicken with a baked potato and my husband had the snow crab dinner. Everything was very flavorful and filling dinner. We then shared the Nutter Butter ice cream cake dessert! It's one of my all time favorite desserts! There are tons of tv's to watch sports and it's just a fun place to be! Servers were all pretty friendly too! Our favorite location is in Orlando near the convention center and we will be there in April- can't wait!

Once again... the service SUCKS!!! Twenty minutes and my food is not out.. I just don't want to complain so they spit in my food. I get it.. you and Flannigans are the only true bar in Miami Lakes but gives us a break.. step it up a little.

I am not getting paid for this review. This is just my humble opinion. Great service! I had the zinger flatbread and a salad. Love the spiciness of the zingers. Just fab! My companion had the fried shrimp. He loved it. The only compliant was that he was charged a dollar extra for having onion rings as his side. It was a surprise when the check came. The portions are generous and tasty. Our server was speedy and efficient. Overall I would recommend this place.

Ale house! This is actually one of the bar franchises I like going to. I've been to a few locations (Pines, Doral) and of course Miami Lakes. Every time and every location I've visited, has provided a good experience. Now most of the time I am little tipsy lol, but I still know good food, despite being under the influence. I always try to switch up my orders in each location just to check for consistency and can honestly say I have never had anything bad at the Ale house. Today I went simple with the Build your own Burger. So I loaded it with grilled mushroom, onions, along with cheddar cheese and the normal works, lettuce, and tomatoes. My burger was pretty darn good! Beef was juicy ( border line greasy actually) lol. It was cooked medium which made me happy considering our service didn't ask me what temp. I wanted. The flavor was great, tasted like pure beef. I like my burgers plain jane, salt & pepper and let the toppings do the rest. Service was good with the exception of our server taking forever to bring the bill. Other than that it was a pretty normal lunch. They're getting the 4 because I've been a few times, to different locations and always have a good experience. If you want good bar food, come to the Ale house, their menu has a variety of choices which is a plus. You'll find something good, I promise :0) Enjoy!

Nice staff i've come for a beer, and also have come with large groups and always had the same service. Very nice staff and the ladies night on Wednesday is fun with a DJ playing music. The food is okay, and the beer selection is decent. Pretty good place to watch games and fights but it get's really packed so get there early.

The service was great and seating was very fast. I like it there because they close very late which makes it suitable for people that work late at night like myself. The establishment always has a police officer on site and makes me feel very safe through the night. Parking is free and very plentiful especially on the weekend when everyone in the city seems to be there.

Outside bar is great for a draft beer and a cigar. Bring your own cigar of course. If you want to sample a draft beer just ask. Beers I like: Blue Moon, Corona, Heineken, Yeungling, Michelob Ultra, Coors Lite, and Miller Lite. #alehouse

Barrrsss. There's not much I can review from these chain restaurants except elaborate on this specific location. The location is in the middle of Miami Lakes and let's just say that was the best and worst thing this area could have done. Not only did they start good business for the Miami Lakes area but they became good competition for Flannigan's down the street. Although the pricing and reputation doesn't even come close. Flannigan's new what was coming and they did a good job and holding up against the new kids on the block. They impressed me with how many TV's they had and what they did with the space including adding the outside bar for the smokers. The staff here is pretty cool too as most of them are a young crowd. Awesome deals on drinks, an extensive menu and always playing all the games and fights.

The best thing about this place is the beer specials and the cheese fries.. Other than that the food is rather mediocre and if you sit outside the music is insanely loud making it hard to have an actual conversation with your friends/family. I would avoid this place for big sports events, as there are campers for the entirety of the time and you'll wait in line forever.. Or if you DO CHOOSE to go there during either a heat / dolphins game then make sure to show up at least an hour before the game starts to claim your spot. Parking is pretty good, it does get packed on weekend, especially during games. Never had an issue with service, they have always been really good when I have gone

This is the best Ale House that I have come to, I have been to the one in Pembroke , US1 and the one from Doral. And none of them like this one, this one is always clean, the employees always so happy and for some reason the food is always good, I always get the Zinger Mountain Melt and this is the only restaurant that gives me everything fresh and warm, the only one with the melted cheese on it, I recommend this place to anyone who's having a family reunion and want to have fun talking =].

Disclaimer: Miller's Ale house is not paying for my review. This is simply my opinion. That said, I'm giving it 4 stars because no business is perfect, there's always something to improve. I, along with a great group of friends, have been going there pretty regularly, specially on Wednesday's Latin night. Although we are there on any other given day for any occasion. I can easily say for at least the past two years. I'd also like to mention that unlike the other ale houses (I've been to a few of them) its one of the few (if not the only one) that has an outside bar. That's where fun happens on Wednesday nights. They have a DJ spinning away a good mix of salsa, merengue, bachata, reggaeton, etc...the outside bartenders are phenomenal. Special shout out to Hugo and David. They always treat us like family when where there. Drinks are good, the food is good, and the atmosphere is great. What better way than to enjoy a good night with good drinks, good friends, and beautiful women dancing? Simple. There's none. P.S. - noise level? Depends in the day.

What can I say....The place is a Zoo. But what are you going to expect, the prices are very low and the food is decent. It's a great place to watch sports and grab a drink during happy hour. Zinger Quesadillas are really good with a glass of Blue Moon! Nachos are good too :) If you like to go to where there are a lot of people for Miami Heat games and stand around with friends, this is the place to go during basketball season.. If not, then avoid it because the wait is basically no table guaranteed until AFTER the game is finished! -_-

Came to eat here with 3 friends , waitress took forever with the food, after we ate two of my friends had to go throw up (I suspect it was the spinach dip they shared ). And to top things off, there was a huge cockroach walking on the ceiling and flying over our table .

So I went back tonight to have some food and a drink after. A long day at work. We arrived and sat at the bar .. Melissa Was our bartender .. She was very polite and eager to serve us.. I got a Bacardi with coke and my friend had a draft beer .. My drink felt to watered down and I asked if I could have another one because mine didn't taste either like rum nor coke .. I got a single glass very strong .. We order fried calamari and spinach dip (my fav.). According to my friend calamari was great but my dip wasn't so good .. It didn't taste cheesy enough .. Idk why because it always is amazing .. He finish all the food .. I didn't finish my drink nor my food .. Idk what's going on here .. Idk if I'll b back to this ale's I really rather drive to pines .. Melissa was really nice .. Her eyeglasses were a hit for sure ...
